About us

Ballymorris Pottery was established in 1994 in rural Co. Clare, in a 17th Century Farm. Since opening, the pottery has expanded and a new workshop has been created with a retail outlet, located in a renovated hay barn.

The pottery is run by Hannah Arnup and her husband John Egan.

Our work

Ballymorris Pottery provides a beautiful selection of hand made stoneware pottery and ceramics, specialising in bespoke pieces made particularly to order.
Ballymorris Pottery is classic and contemporary in style, using positive shapes and strong colours to create their distinctive image, often using spiral sgraffito decoration.

Hannah Arnup

The range of work reflects the breadth of Hannah’s interest and training, as she studied both sculpture and ceramics in England, although much of her knowledge comes from her parents, who were the potter/painter and sculptor, Mick and Sally Arnup, North Yorkshire.
Hannah’s siblings Ben Arnup and Tobias Arnup are also artists, ceramicist and painter respectively.
